The Ask
ASSEK aimed to equip startup enablers and SMEs with essential knowledge and tools for digital transformation. The focus was on educating participants about the importance of digitalization, developing effective strategies, and incorporating Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles to create user-centric solutions. They also wanted to introduce various digital tools to optimize business models.
The Observation
Many SMEs were struggling to integrate digital solutions into their business models, which was affecting their scalability and competitiveness. ASSEK recognized a gap in digital literacy among startup enablers, emphasizing the need for hands-on training and strategic planning to leverage technology for business growth.
The Process
The project began with the preparation of tailored workshop materials focusing on digital transformation. During the workshop, participants were introduced to digitalization strategies, automation, e-commerce trends, and Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles. Hands-on activities allowed them to explore digital tools and develop actionable digital transformation plans. Group coaching sessions were conducted to provide personalized support, and participants’ feedback was collected to refine their strategies. The training emphasized practical skills to enhance digital literacy and user-centric solutions for SMEs
